Here are three simple ways you can help families working to change their lives:
Shelter Manager or Assistant - Help our staff run the shelter in the evenings, make lunches, help with dinner, or lend a sympathetic ear.
Evening Arts Enrichment and Homework Help - Make art or music with our children, or tutor a child struggling with his or her homework.
Shelter Screener - Meet with shelter clients once a week to go over their long-term plans and assist our case managers in tracking a client's progress.
